I’m not sure if you know but Kim K is in Mexico and as her holiday comes to an end we can be sure she hasn’t quite finished showing us her bits and bobs just yet.

We all looked at our ass in disappointment after that moment admit it. I mean come on If I’d given birth to 2 children and my bottom looked like that I’d be shaking my peach all over the place too.
It’s no secret Kim is a massive fan of the Atkins diet and she openly discusses this is how she’s managed to shift 70lbs since welcoming baby boy Saint in December. Now she’s scaling in at 124ibs and is back to her 2010 Kim body. She’s definitely lighter but is it right for her body? People reported she was consuming roughly 1,500 calories a day. Her daily diet includes lots of veggies, proteins like turkey burgers, eggs, Greek yogurt and grilled chicken but not a single grain was posted. Unfortunately, this grueling regime has its negatives Ignoring carbs means that Kim K’s body needs to rely on her muscle tissue to fuel her body. Meaning, she’ll get skinnier, but she’ll lose muscle mass, bye bye toned tum.
Now I tried the Atkins way back when it was bloody hard, it gave me headaches, dizziness, weakness and made me cranky as hell, oh and I never lost 70ibs. To anyone thinking of giving it ago I have to say from experience, it’s really not worth it. Unless you have someone of course to meal prep for you and to drag your ass out of bed for some serious training on a day to day basis.
It might work for Kim and her persistence with this diet is inspiring but as you run for the bus (us norms don’t have chauffeurs’) breathless, dizzy and sick you start to re-evaluate.
Just an FYI It’s much easier to wait it out a little longer, eat correctly and get some exercise in.
It’s definitely worked for me… 2.5 stone gone and counting.
